Colorado DORA/DPO has contracted with the Center for Credentialing &, Education (CCE) to do all education equivalency review/evaluations for LPC, MFT, PSY and Addiction Counselors. License Expiration Grace Period for New Applicants: All new applicants who are issued a license within 120 days of the upcoming renewal expiration date will be issued a license with the next expiration date.
License Renewal Information: All Addiction Counselor certifications and licenses expire on August 31 of odd-numbered years and must be renewed to continue practicing. View your expiration date on your online account. Please note that renewals open approximately four to six weeks prior to the expiration date.
