On behalf of the Director of the Division of Professions and Occupations, the Colorado Office of Acupuncture Licensure (Office) regulates individual licensed acupuncturists in the State of Colorado. Office activities include licensing acupuncturists, investigating complaints, and enforcing disciplinary actions against those who violate the Acupuncturists Practice Act and the Director’s Rules and Regulations. The mission of the Office is to maintain the profession’s integrity and protect its consumers.
The Office works in conjunction with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and the Acupuncture Association of Colorado.
