How to Retrieve a User ID/Reset Password

Retrieve a User ID

User ID's are provided within your renewal notice email. However, if you are not in renewal or lost the notice, you may follow the below steps to retrieve your User ID for the Division's Online Services System:

  1. Access the DPO Online Services System and select the "Forgot User ID" link in the Access Your Account module.
  2. You will access the Login Recovery screen. Enter your email address on file with the Division and select "Next"
  3. An email will be sent to the email address on file with your account that will include your User ID.

You may then use that User ID along with your password to access your DPO Online Services Account.

If your email address has changed, or you no longer have access to the email address originally provided to the Division, please contact the Division at dora_dpo_licensing@state.co.us or 303-894-7800 for assistance.

Reset a Password

Passwords are created by the user and are important to keep secure. However, if you forget your password you may follow the below steps to rest your password for the Division's Online Services System:

  1. Access the DPO Online Services System and select the "Forgot Password" link in the Access Your Account module.
  2. You will access the Password Recovery screen. Enter your User ID used for your DPO Online Services Account, then select "Next"
  3. An email will be sent to the email address on file with a password reset link. Use the link in the email and follow the instructions to update your password.

You may then use that along with your password along with your User ID to access your DPO Online Services Account.
