On July 14, 2020, Governor Polis signed HB20-1218 into law, requiring all hearing aid providers to complete Continuing Education (CE) in order to renew their Colorado license.

On July 14, 2020, Governor Polis signed HB20-1219 into law, requiring all audiologists to complete Continuing Education (CE) in order to renew their Colorado license.CE RequirementsAudiologists with an active Colorado license must complete a minimum of 10 hours of CE during each two-year license period in order to renew that license. CE must be taken in subjects related to the audiologist’s scope of practice.
