Welcome to the Radon Professionals Homepage
The Radon Professional Program is responsible for enforcing statutes, rules and policies as implemented by the Radon Professionals Practice Act. Program staff oversee education, licensing, and enforcement of Radon Measurement Professionals and Radon Mitigation Professionals. This program began regulating Radon Professionals July 1, 2022.

The Division of Professions and Occupations regulates more than 550,000 licensees, certificate holders and registrants. Each year, the General Assembly passes legislation directly impacting those populations. Many bills then require rulemaking or other policy updates by the Division or Boards in order to implement these changes. All relevant bills from the most recent legislative session have been combined onto a single webpage for easy access here. Regulation History:
- 2021: HB21-1995 created the regulation of radon professionals.
