New Rule - January 14, 2021

A new rule for the Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators went into effect on January 14, 2021. This rule was adopted to implement Colorado House Bill 20-1326: Concerning an expansion of an individual's ability to practice an occupation in Colorado through creation of an occupational credential portability program.

New Rules Effective May 15 Help Veterans

The Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators’ new Rules related to applicants with prior military experience went into effect on May 15, 2020. The Rules simplify the application process for those with prior military experience that is similar to current experience requirements for licensure. Additionally, the Rules will help veterans utilize their prior experience for entry into the administrator-in-training program. Specifically, Rules 1.3.B.1, 1.3.D.1 and 1.3.D.4 contain the new provisions. The Board encourages all licensees to read the new Rules. Please direct any questions to dora_nha@state.co.us.
