Office of Hearing Aid Provider Licensure: Practice Act and Laws

Practice Act and Laws

The Office of the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Section protects Colorado consumers from deceptive trade practices through the colorado Consumer Protection Act (CCPA). A violation of the CCPA is considered a ground for discipline under the Hearing Aid Providers Practice  Act and may result in disciplinary action against a licensed hearing aid provider or apprentice.

The Office of Hearing Aid Provider Licensure encourages all licensed hearing aid providers and apprentices involved in the dispensing of hearing aids as well as consumers interested in purchasing or who have purchased a hearing aid to review and understand Parts 1 and 7 of the CCPA.
