Check an Outfitter and disciplinary action. Any consumer can download a list of all the registered Outfitters in Colorado and can sort this list once it is downloaded and it also indicates whether disciplinary action was imposed.

Colorado Outfitters Association (COA)

The Colorado Outfitters Association (COA) is a professional membership organization.  There are several DORA registered outfitters who may choose to be a member.  On the website, you can browse the services and hunt areas served by the member outfitters.

Colorado Parks & Wildlife (Headquarters)

This is the state agency that issues all hunting and fishing licenses to hunters, and provides hunter education courses just to name a few of the many things are they responsible for managing in Colorado.

U.S. Forest Service (USFS)

This is a federal agency that manages public lands known collectively as the National Forest System that are in 44 States, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The agency cooperates with State and local governments, forest industries, other private landowners and forest users in the management, protection, and development of forest land in non-Federal ownership among other things.
