Mortuary Science Occupation Applications Now OpenFull and provisional licensure applications for mortuary science occupations, including Mortuary Science Practitioners, Funeral Directors, Embalmers, Cremationists, and Natural Reductionists are now open.While licensure is not required until January 1, 2027, individuals may choose to apply early. Full licenses will be valid until November 30, 2027, while provisional licenses will be valid for three years from the date of issuance.
