The Colorado Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) is a powerful tool to help reduce prescription drug misuse, abuse and diversion, including: helping prescribers and dispensers to make more informed decisions when considering prescribing or dispensing a controlled substance to a patient.
Pharmacies upload prescription data every regular business day for controlled medications listed in Schedules II to V that are dispensed to Colorado patients. Prescribers and pharmacists with registered accounts may access information on patients under their care up to three members of their healthcare teams. See Opioid Policy.
