Healthcare Professions Profile Program: Report a Profile Inaccuracy

The Healthcare Professions Profile Program (HPPP) is a unique program. The process for reporting incomplete or inaccurate profiles is similar to the method a licensing board or program would use to process complaints.An administrative fine may be issued if any reporting requirement violation is found, but the fine is not reportable as discipline to national data banks and associations. The Director is required to refer any information regarding the imposition of an administrative fine to the respective board or program.

Board activities include licensing optometrists, investigating complaints against optometrists and the unlicensed practice of optometry, and enforcing disciplinary actions against violators of the Optometric Practice Act and Board Rules.
