Office of Acupuncture Licensure: Program Information

Zen Mayhugh, Program Director On behalf of the Director of the Division of Professions and Occupations, the Colorado Office of Acupuncture Licensure (Office) regulates individual licensed acupuncturists in the State of Colorado. Office activities include licensing acupuncturists, investigating complaints, and enforcing disciplinary actions against those who violate the Acupuncturists Practice Act and the Director’s Rules and Regulations. The mission of the Office is to maintain the profession’s integrity and protect its consumers.

Military Spouse License Information

On June 25, 2020, Governor Polis signed House Bill 20-1326 into law which, among other things, creates a new opportunity for the qualified spouses of active duty military personnel to quickly and easily obtain an occupational or professional license in Colorado. Beginning January 1, 2021, the spouse of an active duty military member will be able to apply to the Division of Professions and Occupations (DPO) for a Military Spouse License in their profession or occupation.
